Lili Robins: Illustration and Graphic Design

The Creative Process

It is said a picture is worth a thousand words. Sometimes ideas and concepts can be expressed better with a unique illustration.

The creative process begins with you. We discuss your project requirements and decide how to proceed while paying close attention to your schedule and budget. Next I share preliminary sketches, make your edits, then create a final sketch for approval before moving to the finished project. My goal is to create a unique product that exceeds your expectations.

About Me

I’ve always been an active and creative person. After a short stint as a professional ballet dancer after high school, I changed course entirely and earned a BA in Arts and Sciences at George Washington University. I built on what I learned there by freelancing for DC area design studios and agencies, honing my skills. This was followed by a stint doing graphic illustrations for ABC News which sharpened my techniques in the pre-digital era. I have worked for many years now as a freelance artist. I embrace technology and pair it with hand drawn or painted images using the Adobe Creative.

To balance time devoted to commercial work in my home studio, I am an avid yoga practitioner and teacher. My favorite pose is Boat/Navasana.
